PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU GIVE!

This guy wants you to help him and his wife retire in Thailand.
So, I ask you, why support The Exodus Road? They are a money-making organization. We are not speaking about morality, and we are not speaking about the Christian Faith. These are two very important issues, however, they are separate from the topic at hand. Once again, many anti-trafficking organizations are claiming to rescue young girls and children from establishments where they are being held as “sex slaves” Most of the establishments that are targeted by The Exodus Road are what I call, “soft targets.” These establishments make it easy for Matt Parker to assign a false narrative. He claims children and slaves are working against their will in these establishments. This is just NOT TRUE. Unfortunately, human Trafficking happens around the world. Unfortunately, children are being exploited and trafficked. Let’s fight the real issue; let’s begin to spend money on helping children, families, and communities who desperately need resources and opportunities to make them less vulnerable. Please Church! Please wake up and understand Matt and Laura Parker are only about making money.
The reason for the false rhetoric and the distorted narrative is that the Christian Church will give millions to anti-trafficking organizations that will fight for the young girls who are being sexually trafficked. However, Evangelicals only see what the Parkers put in front of them. The Exodus Road shows pictures, and sexual graphics that make a young girl look like a sex slave. The problem with this is that they are in another country, they come from a different culture, and they do not adhere to your so Christian Morality. When The Exodus Road raises millions of dollars by perpetrating a false narrative it does harm to the entire fight against the real issue of Human Trafficking.
Sexual Exploitation and Human Trafficking is an affront to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God’s heart cries for the victims of trafficking and exploitation; every believer should cry for these victims as well. However, when organizations, such as The Exodus Road lie about the narrative, and misrepresents their work, God is not pleased. The Exodus Road provides no viable solutions to the problem of exploitation and trafficking. They never use their resources, their money or their time to invest in the root of the problem. They pretend to be a law enforcement agency. They pretend to know more than actual police officers. And they pretend to know more about a countries cultural heritage and traditions than the people who were born and raised there.
It’s IMPERATIVE the church to know and understand the truth pertaining to The Exodus Road. There is a real issue of child exploitation and child trafficking around the globe. It’s IMPERATIVE the church is not misled with a “false narrative.” I find beer bars to be morally repulsive. I don’t believe this to be God’s plan. However, we have to be good stewards of time, money and resources. We have to understand cultural traditions. We cannot just accept a “false narrative.” The church needs to support organizations who are providing proven solutions.
Before you embark upon another fundraising campaign with Pulpit Rock Church, or The Exodus Road, take a second to think about this. With millions upon millions of dollars being raised annually to fight human trafficking, why hasn’t the number of trafficking victims gone down? Well, it’s easy! You are being lied to. Girls who are working to make a living in their own country, in their own culture are just working to make a living. Don’t fall for Matt and Laura’s financial scheme. They are all about themselves.
NOT A BAD PLACE TO LIVE!!!! ALL IN THE NAME OF HELPING CHILDREN.
